Sarah Baum is the Director of Student Legal Services (SLS). In this role, Sarah provides free legal assistance to UIC students. Sarah has an extensive and diverse range of legal work experience, including serving as a staff attorney with Legal Aid Chicago and then as the Director of Student Legal Services at DePaul University. Before coming to UIC, Sarah worked as the Associate Director of Academic Advising at the DePaul University College of Law. In addition, she served as a part-time faculty member at DePaul teaching the award-winning Croak Community Legal Clinic, which works with community organizations to bring legal education to people in need. Sarah graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in American Studies, and earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul.
