To avoid a conflict of interest, we cannot advise or represent students in situations involving disputes within the UIC community. In the following situations, we can only refer you to outside counsel:
- Claims against UIC
- Claims against UIC employees or agents if the claim arises out of the performance of duties of office or employment at UIC
- Conflicts between UIC students
- Cases challenging the policies or practices of UIC
- Student disciplinary matters
