U and I Care: Social Media Overload
In our current age of phones 24/7, it can be hard to escape social media and the stress that comes along with it. Even though Instagram and Twitter can be sources of fun and gratification, looking through a constant stream of news headlines, other people having fun, and advertisements can be a source of anxiety that you do not even realize! Having access to social media all day can be difficult, and create a sense of distress or imposter syndrome that is hard to overcome. People were not meant to have this endless amount of stimulus at their fingertips. Taking a break from your phone and social media is an important mental health refresher, especially during this time of using screens frequently.
